cascabeles - strands of bells made of brass and copper

chililitli reverberations - gong resonance activated by breath and percussioninstruments

ehecatl - clay breath instrument

huilacapiztli - made of wood

tlapan huehuetl - Mexica ceremonial tall vertical drum, played with hands and mallet

yollotl - human heartbeat recording

The resonating metal represents the memory of a vision’s
reverberation, the ehecatl activates and resonates within
the atecocolli, conjuring up the semblance of the unknown,
the sound of the heart beat is the sound of the author's heart with a microphone against it controlled by the rate of breath,
and the gong is being played with the fingers,
the atecocolli and eheactl being played are activating
​the resonance of the gong by their proximity to it

during the recording the clarion call of the atecocolli is the lifeline
to Mother Earth
