a human being tearing themselves apart spiritually
while trying to hold onto the mythology of themselves
that they show to the world

Themes are introduced,
overlapped and intertwined
over the same pulse,
much like LIFE itself

The call and response between the huilacapiztli and the tlapitzalli
is the duality of the person fighting with(in) themselves
the distorted flute was played by literally speaking into instrument
instead of blowing into it

HUATEQUE DE LOS MUERTOS
a celebration with ancestors laughing and dancing
as if in an inebriated stupor,
with a distortion of the psyche calling them to follow into
places better left unexplored,
much like a demented pied piper

The psyche of the individual implodes abruptly into the ether.....
